Cheryl Abbott has over a decade of experience in therapeutic massage, and was mentored by veteran therapist Paulette Stott, who taught her Eastern approaches to healing concurrent to her more Western-centered courses at college. This gave her a broad source of modalities to use in therapeutic massage. Recently Cheryl sought specialized training in Myofascial Release (MFR) techniques from the master John Barnes, and is constantly on the search to find more healing courses so she can apply that knowledge to helping her clients find true and lasting healing. Long before she began a career in massage, Cheryl was interested in how the body heals. Through her studies and certification processes, she became truly passionate about the healing effects massage can have— not just for the body, but for the spirit and mind as well. She graduated head-of-class in 2014, and has taught classes, including Lymphatic Drainage Massage at the Rexburg College of Massage Therapy.
